Great place to go to relax with old friends. Nice place to have a permanent trailer spot. If you are coming here for the park facilities, don't bother. The washrooms are old, lacking any luxuries and in many cases not maintained properly though they are clean. The playgrounds are in rough shape. The beach is a fair size and shallow enough for toddlers. The hall store does not have a good selection and hours aren't clearly defined. The hall restaurant has a nice breakfast when it's open. Long weekends the park group puts on a dance lead by DJ Rob Boyle which is always fun. The park does not provide pump outs for large trailer/ mobile homes. It's a family friendly park that has many return campers each year. Some have been coming since the 1940's. But it's not a provincial park with beautiful nature and new bathrooms.

No pools but lake access right from park.. Clean and not sure if water is drinkable from tabs.

Awful. Wasn't more than 3 minutes until my husband and I turned right around and drove back to the office to ask for our money back. There's no trees around the camp site so you're pretty much tent beside tent in open space and surrounded by trailers. We thought we would make the best of it until we were driving 6km an hour with our map looking for our site when some ranging woman started screaming "SLOW DOWN" we were pretty puzzled and said to her "um were driving 6km a hour" and continued to drive, then her neighbour who heard her yelling came charging at us telling us to drop the attitude? At which point my husband just said "don't worry, we're leaving". Awful place, extremely rude locals who clearly don't like visitors, and it's barely camping. U can do the same thing in ur backyard. Try Awenda, beautiful place & its provincial. Book it in advanced. Don't get caught at a place like this one.

Took a walk around the grounds and saw quite a few run down and/or abandoned trailers. No hot water in bathrooms to wash your hands. No hot cold taps to adjust your shower. You may have a hot scolding hower or ice cold....always a surprise. Never saw the owners inside the actual campground. When we ran the water that was hooked up to our trailer it came out yellow. Would not drink this water. Campgrounds need a major overhaul.

Wonderful camping experience. Beautiful beach area on the bay. The owners are very welcoming and the other campers are friendly.
